Thrilling day

Well, two and a half hours each way for a one hour meeting. Still, it makes a change to get out of the office, though I do always tell people that I don't make 'house calls'. I do make the odd exception and this was to visit one of them. We stopped for a pub lunch on the way back, which was nice though I can't get the hang of this season for some reason. On one hand autumn has crept up on me, on the other hand the amount of christmas planning people are doing makes it hard to believe it's not November yet.

I did plan to do something in the garden but now it's dark. Ho hum.

The news has just mentioned a large flare doing a lot of damage, disrupting communications and electricity supplies and wrecking satellites. Or was it a large Blair?
