The slightly depressing local chemist (popular with the guys with the blue prescriptions because the pharmacists don't give them the nasty looks the ones in Tesco's do) says there is a supply problem with Becodisks. Googling suggests that they have been discontinued from May. Would it take 3 months for the supply to work through the system? I am not amused, since the disks work for me whereas inhalers didn't really. The GP in Banbury when we lived there said, almost word for word, 'try these, they cost about ten times as much but this is a rich country and we can afford this sort of thing, as I said to the health minister at a meeting last week', and it was at this point I stopped needed to ever take the short term asthma relief mechanism.
Oh well, back to some sort of inhaler, I guess. Grr.
