“Things got out of hand and we’d had a few drinks.
We smashed the place up and Boris set fire to the toilets.”
As I said on Twitter, when I had my circumnavigation of London I didn't think it was a 'last chance to see' before some of the infrastructure (Tramlink, specifically) got melted by arson. My route went through Tottenham and Clapham Junction as well, now figuring in the rioting. And of course Ealing Broadway is shut, which figures on my second route.
Maybe I should prioritise Lille.
This is why you can't have nice things. That and the NIMBYs and the neo-liberal kleptocrats of course.
The coverage on BBC London is, of course, very good. It is not, in general, at the standard of GLR at its best, but still much better than the other coverage.
