I came across this via a link on YouTube, I had completely forgotten this song and I don't think I knew that it as (a) sung by (and written by) Carole Bayer Sager (b) was enough of a hit to be on Top Of The Pops. Very sixties (though it wasn't the sixties of course, but sixties is a state of mind) and cooky. Mr cloudhigh had this on a cassette recorded off the radio in our distant teenage. Can't remember if he had more of fewer than 61 cassettes. The lyrics don't entirely make sense.
In nostagia stakes, it occurs to me that I must have fancied Judith Pyle from The Paper Lads (which I have mentioned before) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLEIE8WD0X4 because I remember her name and I can't think of any other reason. Nothing I think of compares with this in the degree of nostalgia it invokes, though I have no idea why. I think it is the song and the credits. Even though it wasn't a terribly good programme IIRC.
