The Doctor's daughter, eh?
If I'd known it was that easy to make extra Time Lords then I, for one, would have got my Progenation Machine from out of the drawer with the popcorn popper and doughnut maker and made a few, without even reference to the Embryology Bill currently going through Parliament. Whatever Anne Widdecombe may have to say on the subject.
For what it's worth, I thought that was the weakest of this series so far, being in the 'unacceptably crap' category.
However, that aside, did you think the ending screamed 'another lame spin-off whilst Dr. Who is largely resting next year'?
Clearly a daughter with a spacecraft (yes I know it's serious) setting off from a colony world in the future might suggest a space based spin-off but I cannot help suspecting that given Rusty's predilections in the first episode, after a promising start, she would fall into a time-vortex and crash land in a council estate in Cardiff, or that old stand-by of Cardiff pretending to be Sarf London.
