Amazon have sent a 'first class' i.e. not next day or supersaver thing by HDNL rather than Royal Mail (or someone who has the end delivery done by Royal Mail). Amazon has told them to get a signature. I do not want to sign for the book, I want it to be put through the letter-box or taken back to the delivery office where I can pick it up. The book is now in Swindon and I suspect I am not going to get it until Tuesday. Whilst I could clearly get the books delivered to work, I don't like to do this because that means I won't get anything on Saturday. I have moaned to Amazon and said that if they don't stop doing this I will order the books from somewhere else (and got a reply back which slightly missed the point, but there you go).
Mutter mutter.
Obviously there are many worse things in the world, but still...
