I think the ginger in the ginger ice cream needs cooking first, the raw ginger taste is slightly weird. Anyway, more experimentation needed.
Also more experimentation on the lower bound of the amount of fat (vegan cream substitute) and sugar required, I had to add both in mid freeze this time having tasted the work in progress.
Also, what happened to the green tea I bought with the intention of making ice cream from that? I think that inspired the whole desire for an ice cream machine as the late lamented Gashi Gasihi sold green tea ice-cream but not vegan.
