Ex libris

When I buy 2nd hand books via Abebooks which come from libraries I often feel the desire to write to them (possibly in green crayon) telling them that instead of disposing of the books they should have been bringing these gems to to the prominence they deserve. Today's example is the short stories of Mark Clifton, another one of the writers held up by Barry Malzberg as a great lost writer.
In the case of Clifton I think he is right, certainly they have dated far less than the short stories of Alfred Bester.
