There's a magnificently barking article by recent OUSFG speaker (at least I assume he turned up and spoke - I don't think I've seen / heard anyone mention it) Cory Doctorow
Here's a quote from it:

These people worry me. Before long they will be setting themselves alight outside the FCC offices demanding deregulation of bandwidth, or all singing 'all we are saying, is give UWB a chance'.
