With these Daleks AND Cybermen you are spoiling us.
I have to say that I guessed what was in the void sphere.
It will be interesting to see how the 3rd series works without Rose, and whether, given falling ratings and the BBC's general hatred and fear of SF and fantasy it makes it to a 4th.
I think there has been a degree of NME style backlash against this series. Clearly, Russell T Davies and Mark Gatiss (and probably many a Dr. Who fan / writer) had spent years thinking about plots they would do if they got to write for Dr. Who and that they sensibly used the best of them in the first series, so it is only to be expected that the 2nd series couldn't measure up to the first.
However I think the reaction is slightly unjustified, and declare Russell a Living National Treasure.
Nonetheless, I cannot quite shake the feeling that the series is going to end with Christopher Ecclestone reappearing dressed up as Dr. Frank N. Furter, and Tom Baker as the narrator, with the whole cast singing 'Let's do the Time War again'.
