Avon

As pointed out on Twitter by abigailb Google Maps seems to have decided a tiny hamlet (which does appear on OpenStreetMap) called Avon is as important as Bath and Bristol

Meanwhile, did you know that the 'Western Riverside Waste Authority' was a thing? http://www.wrwa.gov.uk/ The existence of waste authorities was something that passed me by

Meanwhile, if we do end up with a 'combined authority' for Oxfordshire, Bucks and Northamptonshire http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_authority should we start referring to 'the tri-county area'?

What would be the sodding point of an integrated transport authority and economic prosperity board for that particular area (even if it ends up including Milton Keynes which it currently wouldn't as that's a unitary authority)?

Gah.
